Novation Remote SL

Novation released the excellent Remote series a few years back now to much acclaim, and they've just reclaimed their leading position in the controller keyboard market with the launch of the Remote SL.

What currently sets this aside from all others on the market is their "Automapping" feature. In their words :

It’s the first controller keyboard that detects the software you are using in your virtual studio and logically ‘automaps’ that software’s controllers to the keyboard’s own front panel knobs and sliders, all at the click of a button. In short, no more fiddly overlays as the keyboard takes all the hard work out of assigning its controls to the software you are using.

From reviews it works fairly well, although only with Cubase SX3 & Reason 3 at the time of writing this. An Ableton & Logic release they say are both "Imminent". The keyboard is available in 25, 37 & 61 key versions, and comes with a scratch pad, pitch/mod joystick, 16 rotaries & 8 sliders as well as 40 premade templates for popular VSTs. Asides from all this, & the latest breakthrough in controller technology, it has all the hard-wearing build quality, and user-friendly design you'd expect from Novation product.
