Best Mixes and Liveslots of 2005

Just done a run down of some of the best albums, but 2005 was a turning point when a lot of people realised there are some truly astounding bits of music available on the net. And its not all about file-sharing albums illegally either. The majority of the best bits of 2005 were either meticulously sequenced mixes by DJ's and fans, or artist's live slots given away to promote themselves.

There are many reasons for this upsurge : the general public embracing cheaper broadband, allowing for up & downloading of larger files. The wide availablity of music production software - especially simpler bits like Ableton allowing newcomers to really run with it. The mp3 player becoming affordable & taking hold of the market & the mp3 mix losing its stigma of not being a proper (vinyl) mix. The list goes on...

Here they are - each will get its own post with link and tracklist where applicable

Bendyman - Cut Session 2
Kawl 1 - 31 flavours
EG-689 - Recovery
Lusine - Live
Greg Wilson - Live pt 1
