Noisewaffle's first graphics related post - still with a musical theme - 2 very impressive videos from the Pleix collective. They've done loads of good promos in the past for Plaid , Basement Jaxx & others. The most famous probably being kid 606's - which later got used to make the Audi commercial with all the shattering black shards in it.

Visually lavish yet simple, its amazing what you can do with some hi-speed film and some dogs. Make sure you watch until the dogs are wet and shaking all about. (— Never thought i'd post that)

Netlag
This is on more of a technical tip - a video composition made from 1609 different webcams positioned around the world. specially developed software called 'picksucker' saved an image of each camera every ten minutes (from 29-01-2004 until 30-01-2004 18:40 GTM), which are placed on a geographical world map & become animated according to time. — Really digging the way you can see light spread across the face of the 'earth' each day as if you were in space.
